CVFC was alerted to assist Cuba and Friendship Fire witha tanker at a work structure fire on Prospect St in Cuba.Cuba chief on scene reported smoke showing from the 2nd floor and confirmed a working fire. CL-50. 502, 4 and 7 responded at the time of dispatch. Cuba 9 was place and crews vented the roof while the entry team searched and located the seat of the fire. With an aggressive interior attack underway, and with limited man power and interior crews, Cuba Command requested CVFC for interior firefighters to assist in the control and overhaul. CL-2 with 5 interiors reponded and assisted in mop up operation. The crews did an amazing job as stopping the beast before it took total control and devoured the house. Great job by All Cuba, Friendship, Clarksville, and New Hudson crews for showing how proffesional and good District 2 really is.

CVFC was dispatched to a reported 2 car MVA with air bag deployment and entrapment near the Obi Church on Rt. 305 with 1 car reportedly over an embankment. CL-1, 2, 4, 50, 502, and 8 responded in minutes. Portville was also dispatched cause of the location at the district line. Once units started arriving on scene, it was deemed in Portville territor, but with their crews still enroute the crews of CVFC went int operation securing the vehicles and assesing patients. The driver of the vehicle that was over the embankment was unijured, But the driver of the car in the roadway was entrapt, complaining of leg and ankle pain. Under the command of CL-50, crews used air chisels to open up the door to allow removal of the patient. Once the door was popped, The patient was removed and was extremely lucky, the drivers front whell penetrated the floor board and was alomost touching the seat. 1 victim was transported to OGH and the other 2 from the SUV signed off. Crews reamined on scene to assist Portville Truck & Auto with traffic control and clean up. All equipment and personell went BIS at 13:00. Pics to follow
